What's On at Our Sunday Market December 8th 2019

Only 18 days ‘til Christmas! How are all the Christmas preparations and celebrations going?

If you’re still looking for somewhere to catch up with friends or work colleagues, we still have tickets available for ‘AbbaMerryChristmas’ next Saturday, 14 December. We’re transforming Providore Place into the ultimate festive disco, with themed cocktails and food, lots of sequins and all your favourite ABBA classics mixed with the best Christmas anthems, as only the SuperTroupers can! Only $20 entry, purchase tickets on our website or at the door.

For the next three Sundays, we have Christmas fun and lots of stalls to help you tick off those lists! There's a jumping castle and face painting for the kids and all our talented local artists and makers are here with heaps of ideas for the perfect Christmas gift. Vanelili Succulents is back this week, with her kokedamas, succulents and fairy gardens.

Don’t forget that every $10 you spend at one of our Sunday Market stalls gives you an entry into the draw to win a Christmas Hamper full of goodies from our Providore Place Stallholders! Winner will be drawn at the Markets on 22 December.

Pick up your Christmas pudding or cake from Pat’s Tasty Treats, pick up some fresh produce from Laos Farm, bread and kombucha from Cultured Tasmania and we have a special treat this Sunday, Love to Bake are here with cupcakes and meringues. Take a break and grab some lunch at one of our food stalls – all delicious and made fresh for you! Bombshell Coffee is here to keep the energy levels up, too.

Next Sunday, December 15, is our monster Christmas Market, packed to the brim with great stalls! Crescendo Choir and Latrobe Brass will be here to get us into the Christmas Spirit! On December 22, it’s Devonport Brass’ turn to entertain us with all your favourite Christmas tunes.

  • Char Char Char – bacon and egg rolls, delicious char-grilled chicken popped into a soft taco with spicy sauces of your choice! Add yummy beans or have beans alone for a vegetarian option.

  • The Street Bar - Try a North Taiwanese favourite, the 'nutrition sandwich' and now a great dessert option as well
