What's on at Our Sunday Market October 27th 2019

We had another busy week full of events here at Providore Place! We welcomed the Australian Regional Tourism Conference to Devonport this week and loved meeting delegates from all over Australia as they met at the paranaple Centre and visited Providore Place and Southern Wild Distillery.

They took part in a number of activities, including a tasting tour of a number of the great food business surrounding Devonport. A group also enjoyed a tasting in Southern Wild Distillery and we hosted their final dinner in Providore Place on Wednesday evening catered for by head chef, Luke from CharlotteJack.

All of the delegates were excited (and jealous!) of how Devonport has changed and will go back to their respective towns and cities, praising the conference and how well they were treated during their stay in Devonport.

A number of other restaurants and other retailers benefited from the conference and this is a common theme of how the paranaple Convention Centre works to help to grow Devonport’s economy.

Once the hotel is finished in next year or so, we can’t wait to see what benefits will flow through to all of Devonport and beyond.
