What's on at Our Sunday Market July 7th 2019

This Sunday marks the start of NAIDOC Week, celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples. Providore Place will be hosting a NAIDOC Art Exhibition. Come along this Sunday for the opening by artist, Alan Radford. Along with a meditation acknowledgement of country and traditional dancing, Alan will speak on this year’s theme – Voice Treaty Truth – and the story within Alan’s main art work, NEIS Dreaming. Other artists in the exhibition will be at Providore Place to chat as well. The exhibition will run all week at Providore Place, so pop down any time and have a look.

July begins that part of winter when fresh, seasonal vegetables become scarce in the north west. We will do our best to scour the coast and bring what fresh produce we can find in these last months of winter, and we look forward to plentiful supplies returning with the spring warmth.

Primal Alternative is with us again this week. As usual, Karen will have a great special for you! Come and chat with her about her paleo and keto friendly products. Micheline Andrews, Take a Broth is back with us again this week. Come and take advantage of Micheline’s wealth of knowledge and see the benefits of bone broth for your long term wellbeing. We also welcome new stall, Art is Concrete, selling art and craft objects made of concrete and recycled paper.
