The classic coastal drive will take you through spectacular scenery with backdrops including Mt Roland situated behind Devonport, the famous Nut in Stanley, and Table Cape in Wynyard which can be seen exploding with colour every October when the tulips bloom. Stretching along the coast, you will be spoilt for choice with towns boasting their own unique gourmet produce, remarkable history, crystal clear beaches, including Australia’s 9th best beach, Boat Harbour, and the world’s cleanest air at Cape Grim. Just a hop, skip and a jump from Devonport is the iconic Cradle Mountain; a beautiful scenic drive through the mountains will have you there in less than 1.5 hours, making it the perfect day trip for a memorable nature experience and endless walking trails to explore. Along with Cradle Mountain being a World Heritage Area, you will also find the Tarkine, famous for being the largest cool temperate rainforest in the world, without a doubt an incredible wilderness experience.
